PL – Zamek na Wodzie w Wojnowicach stał się w ostatnich latach ważnym miejscem dla rozwoju europejskiej literatury, nauki i kultury. To przestrzeń, w którym toczy się dyskusja, powstają nowe idee oraz ważne pozycje literackie i akademickie. Jednocześnie, Zamek oferuje odpoczynek od gwaru wielkich miast i atmosferę do spokojnej pracy twórczej. Zamek jest oddalony o 22 km od centrum Wrocławia. Podróż ze stacji Mrozów PKP (2,5 km od Zamku) do centrum Wrocławia trwa 20 minut. Rezydenci otrzymają dostęp do bogato wyposażonej biblioteki z najważniejszymi publikacjami dotyczącymi Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej, przestrzeni biurowej z szybkim internetem, restauracji i kawiarni oraz dużego parku. W obecnym naborze oferujemy rezydencje badawcze, które pozwolą tłumaczom literatury odnaleźć i wypromować utwory warte przełożenia i publikacji. Zadaniem rezydenta/tki jest zbadanie wybranego przez siebie tematu, zapoznanie się z literaturą, dobór książek, a następnie przygotowanie krótkich fragmentów tłumaczeń utworów polecanych do wydania.

ENG – The Castle on the Water in Wojnowice has become an influential place for European literature, education and culture in recent years. It is a space where discussions take place, new ideas and important literary and academic positions are created. At the same time, the Castle offers a retreat from the bustle of big cities and an atmosphere for calm, creative work. The castle is 22 kilometers from the center of Wroclaw. The trip from Mrozow PKP station (2.5 km from the Castle) to the center of Wroclaw takes 20 minutes. In the current call, we are offering research residencies that will allow literary translators to find and promote works worth translating and publishing. The resident’s task is to research a topic of their choice, study the literature, select books, and then prepare short excerpts from translations of works recommended for publication.
